Damascus, SANA-Minister of Water Resources, Tammam Raad, discussed with the Iranian Ambassador in Damascus, Mehdi Sobhani, and the accompanying economic delegation, areas of cooperation between the two countries regarding the water sector and ways to develop it
Minister Raad referred to the continued cooperation between the two sides within the framework of agreements on some large projects, pointing out that technical and economic implementation mechanisms were discussed.
For his part, Ambassador Sobhani affirmed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Syria in this field, especially that Iranian companies have experience and competence in this regard, pointing out to the repercussions of unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people, which affect their work in various sectors.
