Damascus, SANA – A girl was injured Tuesday by a mortar shell fired by terrorists in al-Tijara neighborhood in the northern part of the capital Damascus.
According to the Police Command, the shell smashed into a 7th storey house in al-Tijara neighborhood, located to the west of Joubar neighborhood, leaving a girl injured.
SANA reporter quoted a source at the Command as saying that the mortar attack also caused material damage to the house.
Another civilian was injured in a terrorist mortar attack which targeted the residential neighborhood of Barzeh in Damascus.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that a mortar round fired by terrorists fell in a park in Barzeh neighborhood north of Damascus, inflicting moderate injuries on one civilian.
Meanwhile, a civilian was injured due to a blast of an explosive device on the main road in Khyaret Dannoun town in Damascus Countryside.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that an explosive device that had been planted on the main road in Khyaret Dannoun, to the south of al-keswa city, went off, leaving a civilian injured and causing material damage in the site.
