30-kg explosive device dismantled in Hasaka city

Hasaka, SANA – The competent authorities on Friday dismantled an explosive device planted by terrorists in the garden of the National Hospital in al-Hasaka City.

The explosive device weighs 30 kg, filled with TNT, and rigged for remote detonation, a source at the Police Command told SANA reporter, adding that it was planted near the parking lot in garden of the hospital.

Last month, a car bomb stuffed with 300 kgs of high explosives was also dismantled. The car was parked in front of Teachers’ Syndicate in Hasaka city.
