Damascus, SANA – The Ministries of Education and Higher Education on Tuesday postponed all exams that were scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday in universities, institutes and schools due to the current bad weather circumstances.
Minister of Higher Education Mohammad Amer Mardini told SANA that the exams were postponed to ensure that no student will fail to come to these exams because of the harsh weather circumstances.
He said that rectors of universities and heads of institutes have the authority to set the time of the materials which were originally scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday in accordance with the circumstances and nature of each of them.
The Ministries of Industry and Religious Endowment also postponed the exams of its institutes, scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday, due to the current weather.
