Hama, SANA- The General Establishment for Road Transport- Hama Branch has carried out emergency maintenance works for the potholes and furrows on Hama-Aleppo International Highway within the administrative borders of Idleb countryside, which had been liberated from terrorism, to ensure the traffic safety for its users between the areas of Khan Sheikhoun and Ma’aret al-Nu’aman.
Director of the Establishment’s branch in Hama, Khudir Fattoum, in a statement to SANA on Sunday, said the maintenance and restoration works carried out by the establishment’s technical workshops have focused on the potholes, cracked sites and cracks on the two axes of the highway back and forth with the aim of improving its technical readiness by following up the repair and maintenance works for the damages that have appeared on the highway after using it again over the past months.
Fattoum added that the highway was closed for years as it has been sabotaged at the hands of terrorists.
