Baghdad, SANA_Syrian Ambassador to Iraq Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah and Head of the Chamber of Commerce in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Firas Al-Hamdani, discussed means to develop economic relations and expand trade exchange between the two brotherly countries.
Both sides discussed upgrading the level of trade relations and the need to make joint efforts to facilitate work at the Iraqi-Syrian border crossings, the entry of Syrian cars and the investment of trade exchange yards.
They agreed to revitalize organizing exhibitions, reducing prices and exchanging visits, where Al-Hamdani expressed the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce’s readiness to facilitate the work of Syrian companies to develop economic development.
In a statement to SANA’s reporter in Baghdad, Ambassador Al-Dandah said that, during these discussions, it was agreed upon holding an exhibition for direct sale of Syrian goods next March on the grounds of Baghdad International Fair and to open a wide permanent commercial market for Syrian goods in Baghdad, and to hold continuous meetings to overcome all difficulties that may hinder commercial movement and its flow and registration of companies in the two brotherly countries.
