Very hot weather continues to prevail across the country

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 4 to 7 degrees above average in most areas as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure from the southeast accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be very hot and between clear to partly cloudy in general, local rain showers are expected in different areas, particularly in the southwestern areas, while the weather will be misty in the eastern areas and al-Badia.

The winds will be northwestern of low speed and to turn to be southeastern of moderate speed in the eastern and al-Badia areas, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39/23, Homs 40/22, Hasaka 42/24, Lattakia 34/24, Aleppo 39/22 and Deir Ezzor 42/26.
