SANA, Deir Ezzor – Civil defense personnel in Deir Ezzor, with the help of locals, were able to put out a fire that had broken out in one of the wheat fields in Huwaijet Saqer in Deir Ezzor countryside.
The director of civil defense in Deir Ezzor Yasser Menoun said in a statement to SANA correspondent that the fire was caused by the high temperatures, and that the fire brigades went to the location as soon as the fire was reported and worked to put it out completely before it could extend to other areas.
