Beirut, SANA – Syrian team for Romanian wrestling on Saturday won 7 medals during the competitions of the West Asian Youth Championship, currently being held in Beirut.

The Syrian national team won a gold medal in 74 kg-weight competitions, four silver medals in the weight categories of 84, 96, 124 and 66 kg. The team also won two bronze medals.

Syria’s medals for Friday was a gold medals, four silver medals and three bronze.

Five countries, including Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and Palestine are participating in the competitions.
