Amman, SANA- Parliamentary and intellectual figures reiterated their standing by Syria, affirming the right of the Syrian state in liberating every inch of its territories from terrorism and its backers.
In a statement, the figures affirmed their rejection and condemnation of the US and Turkish interferences in the Syrian affairs.
The statement asserted that the US-Turkish agreement on establishing the so-called “safe zone” in Syria contradicts with the international resolutions and legitimacy.
It indicated that the agreement aims on prolonging the crisis in Syria and hindering the exerted political efforts for finding a solution to it.
The statement also called for establishing a Jordanian popular committee to encourage and support the return of the displaced Syrians to their homeland, calling upon the Jordanian government to communicate with the Syrian government to achieve this goal.
