Damascus, SANA-Prime Minister Dr. Wael a-Halqi said the government has outlined programs and overarching strategic plans to revive national industries.
Al-Halqi, who was speaking during a meeting with chairman and members of Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry board of directors, expressed trust that the Syrians will restore “Made in Syria” brand to its previous glamour by dint of the Syrian businessmen ad industrials’ efforts.
Al-Halqi underlined the role of industrial sector in meeting the reconstruction process’s requirements, increasing GDP and providing sustainable job opportunities.
“By developing its ties with friendly countries, the government seeks to find markets for Syrian goods,” the premier added, underscoring the importance that the Syrian products be of high quality to be able to compete in global markets.
Chairman of Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry Samer al-Dibes hailed the efforts of the government in helping industrialists and preparing the ground for reviving struggling national industries.
