Tehran, SANA- General Establishment of cinema is participating in the 15th International Resistance Film Festival(IRFF) at Tehran through four films along with 23 Arab and foreign films.
The Syrian participating films are ” The Father” directed by Bassel al-Khateeb , “Rad al-Qadaa” directed by Najdat Ismail Anzour, “Rain of Homs” directed by Joud Saeed and “Syrian Lelit” directed by Ghassan Shmeit.
General Director of the General Establishment of cinema Murad Shahin hoped at a press conference on the sidelines of Festival that the cultural rapprochement between Syria and Iran will be deeper in order to unify the discourse in defense of the thought of the resistance in the face of odd ideas.
Shahin talked about the challenges which have faced the culture in Syria in order to maintain identity , civilization and defend it against the terrorist war to which the country has was exposed during the last seven years.
Activities of the 15th International Resistance Film Festival(IRFF) kicked off in Tehran on Monday and last until November 30th during which 164 local films and 24 foreign films are participating in the festival.
