Prague, SANA- Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis on Tuesday stressed that the European Union has played a negative role towards the crisis in Syria through its policies and its failure to contribute to finding a solution to it.
In an interview with Czech Newspaper Mladá fronta Dnes, Babis said that the European Union should have contributed to solving the crisis in Syria which has caused many problems for the European states themselves.
He underlined the importance of cooperation between Russia and the US in finding a solution to the Syrian crisis.
In a relevant context, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Hamacek announced that his country’s government has prepared programs to help in the stability and the reconstruction in Syria and Iraq.
Hamacek’s remarks came during a meeting with the accredited ambassadors of the Czech Republic in the world.
