Damascus, SANA_ The temperatures continue to drop to become 2 to 4 below average as the country is still affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere .
Meteorology Directorate expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy in most areas while snow will fall over the mountains whose height exceeds 1000 meters, warning of the formation of frost and ice in the mountainous regions and fog in some inland areas.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts and the sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.
Tomorrow, the weather will be sunny to partly cloudy with a chance of the fall of light rain showers over coastal areas and the al-Jazira. Temperatures also tend to rise slightly to become around average.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 9/3, Daraa 9/3, Homs 10/3, Lattakia 12/8, Aleppo 8/3 and Deir Ezzor 11/5.
