Damascus, SANA – Prime Minister Imad Khamis on Wednesday inspected the northern entrance of Damascus city after the completion of the repairs conducted to it by the Transport Ministry.
The Prime Minister was briefed by the project’s supervisors about the work that was carried out, with Khamis complementing the efforts of all those who contributed to the project, asserting that the government will continue construction and repair work for all public utilities to improve the services provided to citizens.
Transport Minister Ali Hammoud said that the project was carried out within a single month and at high technical standards, ensuring smooth traffic flow and safety, as this area connects Damascus and the southern part of Syria with central, northern, and eastern provinces, with tens of thousands of vehicles using this road on daily basis.
