Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov considered that the “unilateral actions” taken by the United States in Syria were the cause of the Turkish aggression on Afrin.
“Unilateral actions by the United States in Syria have infuriated Turkey,” Lavrov told Kommersant newspaper in an interview on Sunday, pointing to the United States’ destructive role in foreign affairs.
On Saturday, Syria strongly condemned the Turkish aggression on the city of Afrin, which is an integral part of Syrian territory, calling on the international community to take steps to stop it immediately.
