Geneva, SANA- The United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura has not taken a decision about the participation in the Syrian National Dialogue Congress scheduled to be held in the Russian city of Sochi on December 29 and 30, according to de Mistura’s office in Geneva.
De Mistura’s Chief of Staff Michael Conte said that no specific dates for Geneva 9 have yet been announced and this also applies to the decision to participate in the Syrian National Dialogue Congress.
The UN Envoy sticks to his previous statements in which he expressed his intention to hold the Geneva talks this month, Conte added.
