Damascus, SANA – An Egyptian media and artistic delegation visits Syria to participate in the opening ceremony of the 59th session of the Damascus International Fair on Thursday.
The delegation includes a number of Egyptian journalists, actors and directors.
Actress Nada Bahjat said in a statement that their visit to Syria and their participation in the Damascus International Fair prove to the world that security and stability have started to prevail back in Syria.
For his part, movie director Hany Lachin described Syria as “the land of love, peace and resilience”, indicating that Syria has proved over the years its strength and its contribution, and now “its sun is shining again.”
The artist Hany Shaker announced through a voice message on his Facebook page his participation in Damascus International Fair, congratulating the Syrian people on the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army and the restoration of security and safety to most Syrian areas.
The Damascus International Fair includes the participation of 43 countries officially or through economic companies in these countries, in addition to the arrival of many Arab businessmen, intellectuals, artists and media representatives to visit the exhibition and learn about economic and cultural activities in Syria.
