Damascus, SANA – The Administrative Development Minister Salam Safaf discussed on Wednesday with the Iranian Ambassador in Damascus Javad Turk-Abadi means to enhance cooperation between the two countries on issues of human development and management.
Minister Safaf explained the work of the ministry and its tasks in the field of overhauling the state job and improving services to citizens and human resources management systems, noting that the national project for administrative reform launched by President Bashar al-Assad represents a basis for improving the administrative situation at the public institutions.
In a press statement following the meeting, the minister said that strategic relations between Syria and Iran are entering a new area of cooperation, including human capacity building and the exchange of expertise, especially with regard to human resources and administrative development within the framework of simplification of procedures and information technology.
For his part, Turk-Abadi pointed out that meetings between the two sides will continue in order to enhance exchange of expertise in the field of administrative work and educational, professional and training missions, stressing Iran’s readiness to provide support to Syria in the various fields.
