Saturday weather forecast: Temperatures to rise, heatwave to continue for next three days

Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial seasonal low air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the weather will be clear in general while it will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.

The wind will be northwesterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become from 4 to 6 degrees above average.

The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/22, Daraa 39/21, Homs 35/20, Lattakia 32/24, Aleppo 41/24 and Deir Ezzor 43/28.

Weather forecast Zakaria al-Issa told SANA that the heatwave will continue for the next three days and it will reach its peak on Monday.

Al-Issa added that the weather will be hot and dry meanwhile on Tuesday, the temperatures will slightly drop, warning against the exposure to the sun from the 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
