Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and rain showers will fall over the northern, coastal and al-Jazeera areas while the weather will be misty with dusty conditions in the eastern and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a moderate speed with active gusts sometimes and the sea waves will be medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/9, Daraa 20/10, Homs 18/7, Lattakia 18/14, Aleppo 19/9 and Deir Ezzor 22/10.
