Ambassadors of several countries attend festival celebrating Palestinian Revolution anniversary

Damascus, SANA – The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) organized on Saturday a central festival on the occasion of the 52th anniversary of the Modern Palestinian Revolution.

Secretary of Damascus Branch of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Mohammad al-Samman said Fatah Movement has contributed to consolidating the modern Palestinian awareness to the effect of keeping the compass focused on the Palestinian Cause until full liberation of Israeli-occupied territories will be eventually
achieved.

He affirmed that Syria has offered a great deal of support to the Palestinian Cause having been committed to it all the way long as the central cause of the Arab Nation, defying all the challenges aimed at undermining this commitment.

Ambassadors of a number of countries in Damascus and representatives of different Palestinian factions and the parties of the National Progressive Front attended the festival.

The Palestinian people celebrate the launch of the Palestinian Revolution in January of every year, along with the start of Fatah Movement in 1965 and its announcement of adopting armed struggle as a constitution, approach and strategy to achieve the liberation of Palestine.
