Aleppo, SANA – Army units, in cooperation with the supporting forces and allies, on Sunday continued advance in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo and restored security and stability to the neighborhood of al-Assila to the southeast of Aleppo Citadel and the southeastern part of Karm al-Da’da’ neighborhood, a military source said.
The source added that the army units continue chasing the remnants of the terrorists in the region and dismantling mines and improvised explosive devices planted by terrorist organizations in the streets and squares.
Another army unit killed 10 ISIS terrorists and destroys 2 vehicles equipped with machineguns in Tall Ayoub (hill) in Aleppo eastern countryside.
Lattakia
An army unit targeted the movements of terrorist organizations on the axis of al-Tefahiyeh in the northern countryside of Lattakia, according to the military source.
The source said that due to the bombardments an armored vehicle loaded with ammunition was destroyed and all terrorists onboard it were killed.
The source added that the Syrian Air Force carried out airstrikes on gatherings and movement axes of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the villages of Tardin and Kebani in the northern countryside, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their supply routes.
Idleb
In the western countryside of the neighboring Idleb province, the source said the Syrian airstrikes targeted fortifications and sites of terrorist organizations in Kinda and Uma al-Ghar villages in the countryside of Jisr al-Shughour, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists in personnel and equipment.
