Health Minister inspects repair works at National Hospital in Daraa

Daraa, SANA – Health Minister Nizar Yazigi affirmed the Ministry’s determination to repair terrorism-affected departments at Daraa National Hospital and provide the necessary medical cadres and equipment.

Yazigi’s remarks during a visit he paid to the hospital, accompanied with a technical team to assess the hospital’s needs and inspect the maintenance works.

He noted that the damaged CAT scan device will be fixed, in addition to supplying the hospitals with lithotripsy equipment.

Yazigi said the ministry is working, through cooperation and communication with the friendly countries, to provide spare parts for medical equipment and import new devices for public hospitals.

The Minister paid a visit to Izraa National Hospital earlier on the day.
