Moscow, SANA – The Russian Defense Ministry denied the claims made by some media outlets about the death of Russian military personnel in Syria.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Ministry said that these claims are baseless and are mere propaganda and misdirection, asserting that all Russian military personnel deployed in Syria are alive and well and carrying out their duties.
Foreign social media networks claimed earlier that six Russian military personnel were killed in Hama province.
