Damascus, SANA – The temperatures remain 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, with a weak chance of rain showers over the coastal heights.
The weather is expected to be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be changeable to southwesterly of light speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will slightly decline, but remain from 2 to 5 degrees above average.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 33/16, Daraa 33/17, Homs 34/14, Lattakia 33/18, Aleppo 33/14 and Deir Ezzor 35/17.
