Syria’s Noura Baddour ranked fourth in weightlifting at 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro, SANA – Noura Baddour of the Syrian national team for special sports came in the fourth place at the under-41 kg weightlifting competition within the 2016 Paralympic Games currently held in Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro.

Baddour lifted 92 kg, improving her personal record of 88 kg she made in the 2016 IPC Powerlifting World Cup that was held in Malaysia last February.

The Rio 2016 Paralympic Games will last until 18 September, where around 4350 athletes from more than 160 countries will compete for 528 medal events in 23 games.
