Damascus, SANA – Temperatures continue to rise to become slightly above average as the country is still affected by seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by subtropical high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera, al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 34/18, Daraa 32/18, Hama 36/21, Homs 33/20, Lattakia 32/24, Aleppo 34/19 and Deir Ezzor 38/22.
