New York, SANA- Members of the Syrian American Will Association (SAWA) delegation expressed rejection of the Turkish blatant aggression against the Syrian territories, particularly Jarablus area under the pretext of fighting terrorism.
During a visit to a number of the US Security council’s delegations, including Federal Russia, Venezuela, Japan and Malaysia, the SAWA delegation, headed by Khaldoun Makhoul, stressed that the Turkish aggression come at the time when all the world acknowledges that Turkey is the one which supports and finances terrorism and
facilitates the crossing of the terrorists through its borders.
They expressed resentment at the stance of the UN Special Envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura as he expressed his “deep concern” over the so-called the coercive displacement of the people of the city of Darya.
The delegation’s members called for pressuring the countries which impose unilateral, unfair and illegal economic siege on the Syrian people.
At the end of the visit, the delegation delivered a message to Russia’s permanent envoy to the UN thanking Russia’s President for his supportive stance towards the Syrian state and people, hailing the Russian heroism in supporting the Syrian Arab Army in fighting the international terrorism.
