Damascus, SANA – The temperatures continue to gradually drop, yet they remain slightly above average as the country is still affected by superficial Indian low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general as the weather will be relatively hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
Rain showers, according to the bulletin, are expected to fall over the coastal heights during the night.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly with light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 34/18, Daraa 32/18, Homs 32/20, Lattakia 32/24, Aleppo 34/22 and Deir Ezzor 40/23.
