Food aid arrives to besieged neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city

Deir Ezzor, SANA-A new batch of food aid was dropped by the Syrian and Russian planes to the besieged neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city on Sunday and Monday.

In turn, Anas Ishawi, head of Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in Deir Ezzor said that the aid is provided by the World Food Program (WFP) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), adding that the aid includes 2694 oil bottles, 1134 margrine cans and 856 bags of sugar and lentil.

He pointed out that the SARC branch will distribute this aid to the families of the besieged neighborhoods according to a specific schedule for each neighborhood, noting that around 22,000 families will benefit from the aid.
