New terrorist rocket attack causes damage to al-Zara power plant in Hama

Hama, SANA – Terrorist groups targeted al-Zara power plant in the southern countryside of Hama province with two rocket shells, causing material damage to the plant.

A source at the Ministry of Electricity said in a statement to SANA that the shells damaged the main substation of Group 3 and the cooling tower.

The plant has been repeatedly targeted by the terrorist groups recently, mainly by Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham. Hundreds of shells have been fired on it, causing the plant to go out of service several times.
