Two persons killed, 12 others injured due to terrorist attacks in Damascus, its Countryside, al-Foua’a

Provinces, SANA- In a new breach of the cessation of hostilities agreement, two persons were killed and ten others were injured on Monday in terrorist mortar and rocket attacks on Damascus and its countryside.

A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command said that terrorists from Jaish al-Islam fired more than 13 mortar shells on different parts of Harasta Suburb, killing two persons, injuring ten others, and causing material damage to public and private properties.

The source added that three other shells fell in al-Wafideen Camp in Damascus Countryside, causing material damage.

In Damascus city, terrorist groups targeted the neighborhood of al-Mazzeh with a rocket shell.

A source at Damascus Police Command said that terrorists fired a rocket shell on residential buildings in Mazzeh Villat area, causing material damage to a number of the cars and houses.

The source later added that terrorists fired four shells on Ush al-Warwar neighborhood in Barzeh area, causing only material damage.

In Idleb , two citizens were injured by terrorist sniper shooting on the locals of the terrorist-besieged al-Foua’a town at the northeastern countryside of Idleb.

Local sources inside the town told SANA Monday that terrorists positioned in Binnish shot on the locals’ houses in al-Fouaa, injuring two civilians.

The Hmeimim-based Russian center monitoring the cessation of hostilities agreement has observed 1040 breaches of the agreement since it came into effect on February 27th.
