Terrorists target al-Zara power plant with rocket shells in Hama Countryside

Hama/Idleb, SANA- Terrorists from “Jabhat al-Nusra” and “Ahrar al-Sham” targeted al-Zara power plant in the southern countryside of Hama central province with a number of rocket shells, causing a huge material damage to the plant.

A source at the Ministry of Electricity told SANA that terrorist groups on Sunday morning attacked al-Zara power plant in an attempt to enter it and establish control over it, yet units of the army and armed forces in the vicinity of the plant foiled the attack and killed a number of terrorists.

The source added that terrorists fired a number of rocket shells on the plant during the attack causing a huge material damage to one of the generators.

Over the past few weeks, the terrorist groups targeted al-Zara power plant several times with hundreds of shells and the plant went out of service as workshops are working on fixing the damage while units of the army are working on protecting the plant.

A person injured by terrorist sniper gunfire in al-Fouaa town, Idleb

A person got injured due to a terrorist sniper attack by terrorist groups affiliated to the so called “Jaish al-Fateh” on the besieged town of al-Fouaa in the northern countryside of Idleb.

In a phone call with SANA, local sources said that terrorists positioned in Binnesh town targeted the citizens’ houses in al-Fouas town with sniper gunfire, injuring a person.
