Four citizens killed, several others injured in terrorist attacks in Aleppo and Damascus

provinces, SANA- A woman and her child were killed on Monday in rocket shells fired by Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups on al-Khaldiyeh neighborhood in Aleppo city.

A source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA that terrorists fired rocket shells on al-Khaldiyeh residential neighborhood, killing a woman and her child and causing material damage to the public and private properties.

Later, one person was killed and 4 others were injured in terrorist rocket shells and bullets on al-Hamadaniya and Tishreen neighborhoods.

Meanwhile in Damascus a woman was killed and a child was injured in a terrorist attack with shells on Harasta suburb, according to a police source.

Earlier, four citizens were injured when terrorist groups targeted residential neighborhoods with shells.

In a statement to SANA, a source at Damascus Police Command said that terrorists located in Eastern Ghouta fired a mortar shell at al-Qaimariyeh neighborhood in the Old City, injuring four citizens.

The source also said that terrorists fired three rocket shells at Esh al-Warwar neighborhood in Barza area, causing material damage to private properties.

In Quneitra southern province, a mortar shell fired by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists  fell on al-Baath city causing material damage.

A source in Quneitra police command said in a statement to SANA that terrorists fortified in al-Hamediyeh village, two kilometers to the west of al-Baath city targeted the city with a mortar shell which fell on the workers residential neighborhood, causing material damage to locals’ houses and properties.

On Sunday, two civilians were injured due to an attack with rocket shells by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on al-Baath city.

Author Ali Ahmad al-Abdullah killed in yesterday’s terrorist rocket attack on Bab Touma in Damascus

The writer and storyteller Ali Ahmad al-Abdullah was killed when terrorist groups fired rocket shells on Bab Touma neighborhood in Damascus on Sunday.

SANA reporter said that Abdullah was killed along with eight other citizens, including a child and three women, when terrorists fired two rocket shells on Bab Toma neighborhood while 21 others were injured.

In a statement to SANA, Dr. Nidal al-Saleh, Chairman of the Arab Writers Union said that the martyr Abdullah was preparing to participate in the first annual short story festival in Syria, pointing out that he was killed before he completed his new novel.

The martyr Abdullah was born in Daraa in 1963. He is the author of a number of books.
