Damascus, SANA – The temperatures remain around or slightly above average as the country is affected by the seasonal Indian low air pressure accompanied by subtropical high pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot with clear skies in general and it is going to be misty in the eastern, al- Jazira and al-Badiya (desert) areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/21, Daraa 35/20, Hama 34/21, Homs 30/20, Lattakia 31/25, Aleppo 38/21 and Deir Ezzor 43/26.
