Moscow, SANA – Political and military experts from Russia and the US will meet in Geneva in the coming days to step up work on resolving the Syrian crisis, a source at the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
“We proceed from the assumption that intensive military and political expert work will begin in the coming days in Geneva, in development of [US State Secretary John] Kerry’s visit to Moscow,” the source said.
Last Thursday, Kerry visited Russia and met Russia President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The talks dealt with various international and regional issues, especially the settlement of the crisis in Syria and the fight against terrorism.
