Terrorist groups breach cessation of hostilities 4 times in Damascus countryside

Lattakia, SANA The Russian coordination center at Hmeimim airbase in Lattakia affirmed that terrorist groups have breached the cessation of hostilities agreement four times during the last 24 hours.

The center added in a statement that the four breaches were observed in Damascus countryside, pointing out that the agreement is still standing in most Syrian provinces.

The Russian center indicated that the number of Syrian towns which announced joining the agreement rose to 179 after an agreement was reached with a town in Aleppo countryside, affirming that the total number of terrorist groups’ breaches for the cessation of hostilities agreement has reached 768 since the agreement came into effect on 27 February 2016.

The cessation of hostilities agreement doesn’t include ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups designated as terrorist organizations by the UN Security Council.
