Homs, SANA – Hundreds of families from the countryside of Raqqa, Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, Idleb and Homs provinces, who have fled ISIS terrorist organization, arrived Friday in “al-Batma Triangle” area, east of Palmyra city in Homs countryside.
Seeking refuge in safe areas, the arriving families expressed thanks to all those who facilitated their way to reach these areas, stressing their support for the Syrian army until eliminating all the terrorists in the country to the last one.
Some of the people spoke to SANA about their suffering while under ISIS control, saying that women were forced to wear full-body black clothes and were prevented from going out of their houses.
They also referred to the horrific crimes of whipping and decapitation in public, noting that ISIS ranks include many mercenaries of different nationalities.
They pointed out that children were being prevented from going to school and recruited within ISIS ranks tempted by huge financial amounts.
