Damascus, SANA- Issa Hasan, a worker at the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, passed away after succumbing to wounds he sustained from a terrorist attack while performing his duties.
The Ministry said on its Facebook page that after Syrian Arab Army established control over al-Safeeh and al-Rasafeh stations in Raqqa province, Hasan along with a group of other workers were tasked with moving equipment and machinery from the stations to the Central Region Directorate in Homs.
On June 20th, terrorists detonated an explosive device planted in the vehicle that was transporting him to work, causing serious injuries which eventually led to his death.
Issa was born in Abu Dali village in Homs in 1965. He left behind four children.
