Syria wins two gold medals and a bronze one in Lebanese North Triathlon 2016

Damascus, SANA – The Syrian Triathlon Barada Club team gained two gold medals and a bronze one in the Lebanese North Triathlon 2016 championship that concluded recently.

Wisal Saloukha won the first place and earned the gold medal and Joman Ahmad came third and gained the bronze medal in women under 17 sprint competitions.

The other gold medal was earned by the Syrian men team who included Yousef Srouji, Omar Abbas and Ahmad Ibrahim.

This is Syria’s second international triathlon participation this year after the 2016 Subic Bay ASTC Triathlon Asian Cup that was held in Philippines last April.

The national triathlon team then won two gold medals, which were earned by Ahmad Mardanli and Wisal Saloukha, and a silver medal, that was earned by Mohammad al-Sabbagh.
