Terrorist groups breach cessation of hostilities agreement 9 times in 24 hours

Lattakia, SANA- Terrorist groups breached the cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria 9 times in the past 24 hours, 5 of them were in Damascus and the rest were in Aleppo, raising the total number of breaches to 635 since the agreement came into effect on 27 February, the Russian Coordination Center said.

The center, based in Hmeimim airbase, added in a statement on Sunday that terrorists of the so-called Jaish al-Islam targeted the residential neighborhoods of al-Midan, al-Khalediya, old city and al-Assad suburb in Aleppo city with mortar rounds and rocket launchers, as well as Masaken Barzeh and a number of farms in Damascus countryside.

The cessation of hostilities agreement does not include Jabhat al-Nusra, ISIS and other groups listed by the UN as terrorist organizations.
