Damascus, SANA – Students of Secondary School (high school) in the terrorists-besieged Yarmouk Camp neighborhood have been evacuated along with their supervisors through the nearby Yalda town.
The students are to take their final exams of the 12th grade for the 2015/2016 study year.
On the other hand, Basic Education students have returned to the Camp after they had been evacuated earlier this month to take their final exams.
Both evacuation operations were carried out by the General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA), supported by the Syrian government and the Higher Committee for Relief.
In a statement to SANA, Director General of GAPAR Ali Mustafa pointed out that the evacuated students and those who are coming from Lebanon will be fully taken care of where they will be hosted at Said al-Ass Institution that is affiliated to GAPAR and Palestine Institute that is affiliated to the UNRWA in Damascus to get prepared for their exams.
Residents of the terrorist-besieged Yarmouk Camp, located in southern Damascus, were forced to flee after terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), in cahoots with Jabhat al-Nusra, entered the neighborhood in early April 2015 and committed atrocities there.
