200 displaced families are back to their homes in al-Qaryatain

Homs, SANA – Locals in al-Qaryatain city in Homs called for speeding up the provision of infrastructure services such as water, electricity, telephone networks and sewage networks in addition to securing tanks for drinking water.

The locals expressed their determination to stay in their city despite the difficulties they face, noting the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army in eliminating terrorists in al-Qariyatain and securing the return of locals to live in peace and stability.

Mayor of al-Qaryatain Mohammed Deif Allah al-Qaed said that about 200 families currently live in the city in addition to hundreds of families willing to return back after securing the basic infrastructure, particularly drinking water.

During a tour in al-Qaryatain on April 18th, Homs Governor Tala al-Barazi said that the service workshops continue their work to secure all requirements for locals.

On April 3rd, Army units in cooperation with the supporting groups fully restored security and stability to al-Qaryatain which is located 85 kilometers to the south east of Homs and eliminated the remaining gatherings of ISIS terrorist there.
