Damascus, SANA- State Minister for National Reconciliation Affairs Dr. Ali Haidar stressed the importance of completing the file of local reconciliation in Qudsayya area and coordinating governmental and local efforts to remove difficulties and obstacles facing it.
During his meeting with a delegation of Qudsayya locals which was also attended by a representative of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimeem, Haidar stressed the need to move to other stages in achieving the file of reconciliation in preparation to bring life to normal for more than 600 000 locals, noting that the reconciliation serves the interests of the Syrians and helps defeat the corrupt.
Haidar said that the government is interested in addressing the citizens’ concerns, adding that reconciliations are the best way to increase the social engagement with the state establishments in combating terrorism.
Haidar said that achieving the reconciliation in Qudsayya will reflect positively on the nearby areas particularly al-Hameh and the extension of Wadi Barada.
Mechanisms of settling the status of the militants, the delivery of aid to those who need it and addressing all the negative aspects in the area were also discussed during the meeting.
