Most Chechen terrorists fighting in Syria killed, Kadyrov says

Moscow, SANA – Chechen outgoing President Ramzan Kadyrov announced that most of the Chechen terrorists who were fighting in Syria have been eliminated.

“We now have information that most of the Chechens were killed there because the Arabs who are fighting there and other nationalities sent Chechen cannon fodder in first,” Kadyrov said in an interview with Sputnik.

He added that “around 200 of our Chechens remain in Syria who came from Europe and are in criminal groups of 20 to 30 individuals.”

The Chechen leader pointed out that “Western Special Forces use Chechens residing in Europe and try to keep them there, giving them weapons and training them for something.”

“We have tens or even hundreds of thousands of people living in Europe, Turkey, Ukraine, everywhere,” Kadyrov added.
