Damascus, SANA – Cham Wings Airlines announced that it will run three flights weekly from Damascus to Tehran starting off April 3th.
The company’s commercial director Nizar Sulaiman told SANA in a statement on Thursday that they agreed with the Iranian Mahan Air to open lines between Tehran and Delhi, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to transport Syrian passengers at affordable prices.
“We hope the new Damascus-Tehran line will serve the Syrian expatriates in Iran and help in extending bridges of communication for them with the homeland,” said Sulaiman.
The privately-owned company runs flights between Damascus and each of Kuwait, Muscat, Khartoum, Baghdad, Beirut, Doha and Istanbul, in addition to internal flights between Damascus and Qamishli city in northeastern Syria.
