Damascus, SANA – The temperatures gradually rise to be from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is being affected by a superficial high air pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and the weather will be slightly cold at night.
The wind will be southeasterly with a light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become from 4 to 6 degrees above average and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general.
The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 21/08, Daraa 21/09, Homs 22/07, Hama 23/08, Hasaka 19/06, Lattakia 21/13, Aleppo 18/07, Tartous 22/12 and Deir Ezzor 22/09.
