Moscow, SANA – The Russian Defense Ministry denied claims that the Turkish Air Force has shot down a Russian warplane, claims that were based off a video published on some websites.
In a statement on Friday, the Ministry said that all that was stated in the video in question is “absolute nonsense,” adding that all the Russian planes which are destroying terrorist infrastructure in Syria have safely returned to an air base.
Earlier, websites posted a video claiming to show ballistic missiles targeting a Russian warplane near Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey in the northern countryside of Idleb province.
