Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain lower than average from 4 to 7 degrees as the country is still being affected by a low air pressure accompanied by western wet
layers in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy sometimes; local rain showers are expected over
various areas across the country, while they will be mixed with snow on the central and northern areas and al-Jazira and snow will fall over the mountains.
The winds will be southeastern of light to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be of low amplitude on the beach and of medium to high amplitude in the inside.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 08/03, Daraa 09/02, Homs 02/-1, Hama 03/ -2, Hasaka 05/-2, Lattakia 14/07, Aleppo 04/-1 and Deir Ezzor 06/02.
On Tuesday, the same weather will continue with slight rise of temperatures.
The amounts of rainfalls during the past 24 hours, according to the bulletin of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reforms, in some Syrian provinces were as
follows: 20mm Damascus and its countryside, 6mm Sweida, 7mm Dara, 48mm Quneitra, 22,5mm Homs, 14mm Hama, 4mm Tartous and 3mm in Aleppo.
